Dale is currently serving his community as Webelos Den Leader for Pack 70, Three Rivers District, Northern Star Council, located in the city of Fridley.  Dale has supported pack 70 since its beginning and has served as Cub Scout Den Leader, Range Master, and Webelos Den Leader.     While Dale has served his community in many ways over the years he believes that scouting is one most fulfilling and challenging roles he has ever done.  Cub Scouts has been called “A game with a purpose” and is known for four things: fun, values, leadership, and learning.     Dale is proud to be a part of the tradition of scouting which seeks to build character, promote citizenship, personal fitness, family values, and leadership.      Scouting - Good for Life

Dale began his scouting journey in the Cub Scouts-earning every rank through the Arrow of Light (Cub Scouts highest honor).    Dale then joined the Boy Scouts of America and earned his Eagle Scout by age 16.  Dale was awarded the golden palm (Boys Scouts highest honor) that same year. Dale remained in the Boy Scouts as an adult leader for several years after his eagle and served in various positions to include Assistant Scout Master.
